The Coming American Civil War

Many can feel that the U.S. is more divided than ever and may be heading towards a civil war. The divisions become more defined each day. The key divisions are: Upper Class vs Working Class, Liberals vs Conservatives, Globalitsts vs Populists, Post-modern morals vs Traditional morals. John Batchelor and Dr. Michael Vlahos have been discussing the topic of the coming U.S. civil war on the nationally syndicated John Batchelor Show. This week's show provided a good synopsis on the process of "othering" that we are currently experiencing. Enjoy!

Ted Nugent Coming to Kansas for Kobach

Kobach has enlisted Ted Nugent's support for his campaign. Nugent will be at the Lenexa Community Center on June 23rd.

Trump the Strategist Pardons Dinesh Dsouza

As many are finally beginning to realize,  Donald Trump is a prescient strategist. In his most recent move, he will pardon Dinesh Dsouza, who was prosecuted for two campaign finance violations in 2014. Many conservatives objected to the criminalization of a financial error that lacked any self serving motive or intent to violate the law. In short, many viewed it as the establishment (a.k.a the Deep-State) going after a grass-roots conservatives. These Deep-State tactics were common during the Obama administration as was seen when the IRS illegally targeted the Tea Party.

This is not the first strategic pardon President Trump has granted. In April, Trump pardoned Scouter Libby after he was convicted in 2004 for process crimes emanating from a special prosecutor investigation. This is an old FBI/DOJ tactic. When they investigate a potential crime and can't prove it, they hit you with a process crime.

Trump's strategic move appears to be telling Robert Mueller what he intends do with the frivolous process crimes that are coming out of the "Russia" investigation. It is no longer going to be acceptable for the FBI and DOJ to prosecute conservatives on process crimes as a back door means to suppress the grass-roots movement that seek to unseat the undemocratic power of the Deep-State. Mueller is not going to be allowed to come up with process crimes in order to encourage people to provide false evidence against Trump and thereby overturn the 2016 election. As Dershowitz explains below, Mueller is using process crimes to make up for his weak case.

Kobach Will Win the Republican Primary

If you hang around the Kansas capitol, there is a lot of buzz about a tight race between Jeff Colyer and Kris Kobach. But I am here to tell you that it will not even be close. Kobach is going to win the primary in August hands down. There are several reasons why this is so.

Reason 1: Colyer = Brownback

Colyer is forever tied to former Governor Brownback. While Brownback scores high on the decency scale, he was extremely unpopular with a 27% approval rating and earned abysmal grades on effective leadership. Brownback stole defeat from the jaws of victory by failing to curb the Kansas Legislature's spending after he won his tax cuts in 2012. He also appeared to be missing in action from the time he was floated as a leading Trump nominee in
March 2017 to the time he finally resigned in January 2018. This extended inter-regnum stole valuable time that Colyer could have used to actually lead the state and develop a brand and some name recognition. Since Colyer was not given this chance, he is effectively equated with Brownback and all the negative baggage that comes along with it.

UK Orwellian Arrest of Tommy Robinson

Say what you like about the style or manner of Tommy Robinson's reporting, the idea that the UK police have arrested him and sent him to a year in prison for video taping the court appearance of sexual-grooming-gang members is just Orwellian. Within hours of Tommy's arrest, all major news outlets, including Breitbart, had to scrub any mention of his arrest. To make matters worse, the UK police have a habit of letting the general prison population have their way with prisoners like Tommy. Below is a great explanation of the situation by Stephen Molyneux.

Kris Kobach Fights Kansas College Tuition Increase

The Kansas City Star is reporting that college tuition will be increasing once again. Hunter Woodall wrote:
Kansas State University is asking for a 1.1 percent tuition rate increase for undergraduate residents, while KU students in Lawrence could see an increase of 2.8 percent. Wichita State is asking for an increase of 2.5 percent.
At the KU campus in Lawrence, that would mean the undergraduate cost of tuition for 15 credit hours and not including fees would rise from $4,909 to $5,046, a $137 increase.A student at Kansas State would see tuition grow from $4,637 last school year to $4,688 in the next, a $51 increase. For Wichita State, undergraduate residents could see tuition go from $3,272 to $3,354, an $82 rise.

Kansas University will also be eliminating its previous practice of freezing a freshman's tuition throughout their 4 year's of study at KU.

The frustrating thing with this story is that Woodall provided no push back against the schools when writing this piece. He simply passed on the information as if it were the weather report, where no one is really accountable for bad events or the consequences. Where are the probing questions about executive salaries, waste or the fact that Kansans are paying higher tuition in order to subsidize non-citizens claiming in-state tuition? The underlying assumption is that prices are going up and Kansans just need to deal with it.

Deborah Lipstadt Jumps the Shark on Jordan Peterson Antisemitic Claim

Deborah Lipstadt sullied her academic brand this week by intimating that Dr. Jordan Peterson's attack on antisemitism reminded her of antisemitism. In the Forward's article entitled, Is Jordan Peterson Enabling Jew Hatred, Lipstadt went so far out of her way to connect Peterson to antisemitsm that one is tempted to conclude that she is either past her intellectual prime or is allowing some other bias to distort her opinion. Lipstadt is quoted as saying:
Peterson’s willingness to answer questions about “Jewish success” and his interest in IQ literature is “suspicious” said Deborah Lipstadt, a professor of history at Emory University and author of “Denying the Holocaust,” who won a libel case in Britain against prominent Holocaust denier David Irving.
Lipstadt said that Peterson’s statements on Jewish intelligence reminded her of Kevin MacDonald, a professor of psychology who the Southern Poverty Law Center has described as “the neo-Nazi movement’s favorite academic.” MacDonald has written several books criticizing Jewish intellectual culture. (Peterson links to a critique of one of MacDonald’s books at the end of his blog post on Jewish intelligence.) Lipstadt said that MacDonald’s academic language obscures the anti-Semitism behind his opinions. She worries the same is true of Peterson.
“It’s not [Holocaust] denial, but when people start asking questions like that, I begin to get leery,” Lipstadt said. “The question is, is he a self-help guru who find the Holocaust a convenient way of attracting attention, or is there serious thought going on here?”
Peterson responded to Lipstadt's claims via his Twitter account. Peterson wrote:

The Kansas Adoption Bill

The Bill and Controversy

The Kansas legislature just passed a bill that will protect Catholic Charities’ right to provide adoptions pursuant to Catholic teaching. Catholic Charities is now permitted to continue to arrange adoptions for traditionally married men and women in Kansas.  This is a very important religious issue to Catholics, who believe that each member of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer... (LBGTQ) community is sacred and worthy of love, respect and civil rights, but that their activities are not in line with God's plan for children and the family. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states:

Chastity and homosexuality

2357 Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity,141 tradition has always declared that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered."142 They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.

Who is Really Harmed by the Bill?

Although many are positioning the new adoption law as a defeat for the LBGTQ community, it is more accurately a defeat for cultural-Marxists since the rights of the LBGTQ community to adopt in Kansas have not been curtailed in any way. The vast majority of Kansas adoption organizations continue to provide for LBGTQ adoptions.

Roberto Fiore's Antisemitism

I was watching some videos on Roberto Fiore this morning. In the clip below starting at 1 minute and 28 seconds you will hear Fiore blame the economic crisis on the "same people who put Christ on the cross." I don't think he is referring to the Romans/Italians.

Antisemitism and the Society of Saint Pius X

(Photo: February 1, 2012 visit of Bishop Richard Williamson to SSPX St. Michael's church in Farmingville, NY)

It has been years since I have written about the topic of antisemitism and the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX). The story of my association and rejection of the SSPX was published with the Journal for the Study of Antisemitism in an article entitled, "Traditional Catholicism and the Teachings of Bishop Williamson".   I spent the next few years after my 2010 article blogging about this topic and informing high level SSPX associates of the ongoing problem with radicals in the SSPX. While I was always told the right things like, 'The SSPX is trying to get rid of the radicals', little concrete public action was taken. One key example I provided to the SSPX, out of many examples, was the case of the antisemitic beliefs of the acting principal of the SSPX school in Farmingville, NY. The principal's, Thomas B. Gabriele's, antisemitic ideology can be seen in the pamphlet he coauthored, "Modern Wars".

Impressive Topeka Ham Antenna!

I have been an amateur radio operator (Ham) for a little over three years. My call sign is KE0ABZ. A few months ago I passed my General exam, which permits me to use almost all of the bands and frequencies set aside for amateur citizen use.

One day I was out for a run in Topeka, KS and could not believe my eyes when I looked up at this house and saw the size of this high frequency antenna. I laughed at surprise and admiration of how this person would have had to convince his wife that this was a good idea.

When you are near this house you have the feeling that the house will actually tip over. Nevertheless, I would love to speak to this operator to find out more about his radio set up. I think I will be able to contact him since the two cars in the driveway both had call signs on the licence plates.
